A marvelous yellow submarine with glass windows. It’s a fabulous activity for children and for those who don’t know how to swim! The Subsee is available in both Cancun and Cozumel, and it’s considered one of the best tours.

This tour departs from Aquaworld. Upon arriving at the reef area, you will board the submarine and comfortably sit in the fully air-conditioned lower section. Bilingual guides will show you the different species of corals, marine life, and exotic fish. You’ll also have the opportunity to admire the statues that belong to the Underwater Museum of Art in Cancun.

This wonderful ecological project in Cancun was created by British artist Jason De Caires Taylor, and it now includes works from international artists such as Elier Amado Gil from Cuba. The artificial reef was designed to blend art with nature; the life-sized statues, made from eco-friendly marine materials, actively promote coral growth and become a habitat for fish and marine life. During the Subsee tour, you’ll see several statues like Veined Man, The Speaker, and Self-Immolation, although visibility depends on weather conditions.
